Bias - a preference or an inclination

Picture
We're all biased.

Whenever I listen to experts discuss an issue, I want to know their bias. As it relates to the information they are imparting, it's important. Since most typically do not divulge their bias, it is difficult to ascertain.

Here's my bias: prevention and good health.

How do you prevent or minimize chronic disease? What are the issues? What are the concerns? I'm not as interested in longevity. Many people who are unhealthy live long lives. I'm interested in the quality of life. Yes, living a long life is important. However, living a long and healthy life is the end game. That's my bias.

Every tip, article, and video incorporates prevention and long-term good health as an integral ingredient

When you eat healthy, it’s not about living longer. It’s about living
better. You feel so much better so quickly. - Dr. Dean Ornish
