12. Diets don't work, lifestyle changes do.


Diets don’t work because once the weight is lost; most people revert back to their prior eating habits. Slowly, but surely, the weight will reappear. 

For permanent results, be prepared to change your lifestyle. If you want short-term results, go on a short-term diet. Americans spend approximately $60-billion per year attempting to lose weight. Unfortunately, there’s a 95% failure rate. If you’re not prepared to change your lifestyle, don’t waste your time and money.
