73. Control thy portions.
Everyone has heard of portion control. However, there are three things to know.
1) The plates in our homes are 12-inches in diameter. The plates from the “olden-days” were 10-inches. Research has shown that we consume 22% more calories because of the larger plates.

2) The portion size of everyday items are enormous. Items such as cookies, bagels, muffins, and more seem to be on steroids.
3) Restaurant portions are mammoth. We all enjoy dining out. However, be aware: It’s a danger zone.
